Louise Beit, Senior Vice President
A Senior Vice President of Sotheby's International Realty and one of Manhattan's most dynamic and successful brokers, Louise was ranked in the Wall Street Journal as one of the top 50 brokers across the United States, and is one of the top 10 performing brokers in her firm. Louise also holds an impressive sales record, including the sale of two townhouses, totaling over $44,000,000, within 10 days of each other, achieving the highest price per square foot for one of the townhouses, the sale of a Park Avenue penthouse for $21,000,000, and in 2009, she sold a townhouse for $32,000,000 to a celebrity, achieving the highest sale price in manhattan that year for a townhouse.
Louise began her real estate career in 1991, and represents and sells premier properties, including ultra-luxury pre-war cooperative apartments at 960 Fifth Avenue and 770 Park Avenue, luxury condominiums in buildings such as 988 Fifth Avenue and extraordinary townhouses, which she has hosted on WNBC, CNBC's "High Net Worth", and NBC's "Open House NYC". She has represented important apartments at the Pierre Hotel, prime investment properties, including a building in Tribeca, and the rental of a 12,000 square foot apartment with swimming pool at Olympic Tower. Her transactions and exclusive listings have been in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, W Magazine, Vanity Fair, The New York Post, The New York Observer, New York Magazine, CBS Money Watch, US News and World Report, Access Hollywood and Elle Canada.
One of the city's outstanding negotiators, Louise is also known for her expertise in preparing co-op Board presentations and marketing her client's properties. Her clients include affluent families world-wide, the financial community, corporations, and celebrities. Louise is known for her in-depth knowledge of the real estate market, her professionalism, and discretion. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
Louise is involved in a variety of charitable activities. Her many interests include architecture, music, film, theater and literature. Louise lives on the Upper East Side with her husband. Their daughter is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard University School of Public Health.
